ABOUT THE FORUM
The Altarum Health Policy Forum is a weekly journal for debate and discussion about health care and health policy. With insightful posts from some of the most respected authorities in the field of health care policy and research, the Health Policy Forum provides the evidence-based commentary and analysis you need to break through the rhetoric and focus on the real health care issues facing our nation.
New content is published each Tuesday and Thursday morning, and readers can subscribe to e-mail alerts notifying them of new posts. New content is also available via Facebook and Twitter. Tuesdays feature a regular group of columnists, offering their own unique perspective on today’s most pressing health policy issues. Tuesdays also include the Health Policy Forum’s own original reporting, providing in-depth coverage of issues in health policy from some of the field’s most seasoned journalists. And on Thursdays, we offer opinion essays from leaders in the health policy and advocacy community, with regular essays from Trust For America’s Health, The SCAN Foundation, KaBOOM!, Wendy Lynch Consulting, policymakers, and Altarum’s own researchers and scholars.
The Health Policy Forum is a product of Altarum Institute, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit health care research and consulting organization. As an institute dedicated to improving human health, Altarum encourages open conversation about the many challenges in health care today. The Health Policy Forum enables us to host a public forum where issues and opinions can be discussed, considered, and commented upon in a neutral setting.
