Randy Durbin
Dr. Durbin has been the Director of Medical Epidemiology and Health Informatics at Altarum since 2010. He has over 17 years of experience in health care, public health and health informatics, and over 20 years of experience in database programming and statistical analysis. He has worked in healthcare quality improvement and consulting for Northwestern Memorial Hospital of Chicago, the Baptist Health System of Alabama, United HealthCare South, Inc., commercially and for the government at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), the US Northern Command (US-NORTHCOM), and the Alabama Department of Public Health (ADPH). He has published in peer-reviewed public health journals, and has lectured frequently. He is also a subject matter expert in infectious and chronic disease epidemiology, applied public health training and health informatics. Durbin is a licensed physician with emphasis on preventive medicine/public health, physical medicine/osteopathic manipulation and outpatient medicine.
