Sarah Lifsey, MPP, is a policy associate in Altarum's Community Health Systems business group and provides support in multiple capacities for the projects of the program, planning, and evaluation practice area. She aids in the planning and conduct of quantitative and qualitative data collection and analysis; organizes and manages project databases; performs policy research and analysis; conducts literature reviews; aids in event planning and coordination; and writes original content for reports, marketing materials, and other client deliverables. She has worked in a substantive capacity on projects covering oral health, maternal and child health, mental health and substance abuse, women’s health, childhood obesity, active transportation and transportation policy, community coalition development, and early childhood systems, among other areas. Ms. Lifsey has extensive experience contributing to qualitative research projects and has used the qualitative analysis software NVivo to analyze focus group and interview transcripts, grantee applications and reports, and other data sources. Ms. Lifsey holds a master’s of public policy with a concentration in policy analysis from American University in Washington, D.C. She received her bachelor’s degree in political science from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tenn.
