Danielle Marshall
Danielle Marshall is the Director of Community Engagement Programs at KaBOOM! In this role, Danielle oversees 3 distinct programs that serve to provide support and resources to communities enabling them to increase children’s access to play through advocacy, education, and community building. Danielle has worked in the field of child development for over 10 years. She began as the Program Director of Jumpstart for Young Children, a nonprofit dedicated to improving the development of language and literacy skills of preschoolers. During this time she created training curriculum and conducted regular observation and feedback sessions with educators. Her passion for the development of the whole child led to a transition to KaBOOM! in 2008 where prior to taking on her current role she served as the Senior Manager of Research and Education, conducting research and training on the creation of playspaces that maximize play value and extend children’s learning.
